Is Text Messaging Important in a Relationship ?

Modern hectic schedules don't leave us with much time and energy to pick up a pen and flowery letter pad and write a love letter to your partner. Love letters are replaced by text messaging. Often they are short and sweet and you don't have to extract extra time for writing. You can sense the importance of text messaging in this survey conducted by AT&T.

According to the survey,
  • Sixty-eight percent of texters surveyed admitted to sending a love note via text messaging.
  • Sixty-seven percent have used text messaging to flirt.
  • Fifty-two percent said "thinking of you" is the most common text message received from a date or spouse.
  • Twenty-eight percent indicated that they text at least three times a day with a significant other or spouse.
